Hi there! I've had my system for a few months now and anytime i hit the power button it shut down like normal, after changing the setting in 'choose what to do when the power button is turned off'

I recently upgraded to 32gb of corsair rgb pro ram, and after that, my PC will not shutdown when i hit the power button. I checked the setting - and it still says 'shut down'.

The only thing i might've done that would differ from a normal installation of this RAM is i had to manually clock it to 3600 mhz in bios because auto was setting it to 3200.

**I don't even know why RAM would cause this issue, or if it just coincidentally 'broke' on windows end when i upgraded**

Any trouble shooting steps would be greatly appreciated, thank you and have a great day.

p.s. - when i click the power button the PC turns off everything other than the RAM, and when i press the power button again it comes up with everything i previously had open.

That's a Windows thing. Mine does that as well.

Read this guide for further details on controlling this feature.
