5700xt deal or wait

So as we all now the stocks are low and things are sold out in 30 minutes.

 

I saw this deal, and I am very tempted to go for it.

I think all cards announced right now are too expensive and think the previous generations have also been too expensive.

Prices will just get inflated right now, even the 3070 goes for nearly 700 and when you want it right now you pay like 900 over here...

Will be going from a R9 Fury (paid about 380 ~>4 years ago?) to this, bought Serious Sam 4 recently and it can just about run it, it looks alright to me on Low / 1080p + Fidelity FX CAS and fps locked max at 60.

But I am sort of getting annoyed at having to figure out graphics settings that work for me all the time.

 

Also AMD has no mention of a 6700 yet? My question is how much longer will I have to wait and will the wait be worth it or will all the cards just be over 400-500 again...

If you don't absolutely NEED a new card right now I'd wait. Reviews and stock for the new products will sort themselves out early next year (hopefully) at which point they should be accessible for much closer to MSRP.

 

That's my plan.

I Say wait for new GPU. When AMD Release the 6700 line. 5700 price will drop..Then its better to get 5700. As we all know every NEW GPU *nvidia or amd* released will have problem with driver issue on every game and have to wait to get fix.
