So I was taking apart my Koolance CPU-380I and I found this..? Not sure if this is normal or not? I don't think I can return it back because I bought it a while back.

I have flash on so you are able to see the scratches and marks on it better.

uaB0sGC.jpgOrRtsBT.jpgChjKWvq.jpgSorry for the big pictures, my camera isn't the best.

Thanks.

That should be the jet plate and is suppose to help with increasing turbulence and mixing of the liquid to facilitate better heat  transfer. I'm not very sure about the details but that's the basics of it at least.

Yeah I just found all these marks on it when I took it apart... Not sure why it was like that. I got it at NCIX.

the scratches are grind/sanding marks to plate/size the part for clearance. not a

dig on Koolance, but their finishes are really not the best for plating. my 360 and

370 webs are cobb-rough under the plating. not very smooth.

Wow Koolance...

My only problem now is if the marker/sharpie mark is going to mess up my loop? Not sure if it is going to like rube off some day because of the water current.

wait...

I didn't really understand what you wrote because my english isn't the best.

it'll be just fine. if it bothers you, then use some lacquer thinner or enamel reducer

to remove the marker lines. just remember what side was up or down.

Sorry but you didn't get that last part. I kind of did a slow ninja edit.
