pre built gaming pc problem

Hey guys I am new here and I need help I bought a pre built pc from BestBuy on  February this year. It has been running smooth with no problems but that change about 2 weeks ago. the pc is constantly freezing and stuttering and it would randomly restart it happened on anything I am doing not just games but it is most noticeable when I am playing games and a few times it didn't even wanted to turn back on i had to switch the power supply off and back on for it to work. I even lower the setting on the games but it is still happening i am new to pc and would greatly appreciate any advice you guys can give me and i forgot to mention this but sometime the audio is out of sync when the whole freezing starts.

 

the pc is from cyberpower model: slc7000bst

specs: asrock b450 gaming motherboard, ryzen 7 3700x, msi rtx 2070 super, 16gb t.force Vulcan z memorie (i upgraded these to 32gb vulcan z a month or 2 after purchasing the pc neve had problems after upgrading it) let me know if you need any more info on the specs

I've had the audio out of sync a couple of times when my old laptop was overheating. Check your temps in a heavy load benchmark. Also, make sure all connections are tight. The first thing I'd check if I had a prebuilt is if the connections are secure. I don't trust their technicians.

Yes. check your thermals like @Rooked mentioned.

Then check connections and reseat things.

Daily driver (looking to upgrade mobo and cpu spring of 2021)   --- The only time I sort by price from high to low is when I am shopping for CPU's and GPU's (looking for a cheap i7-7700k though)

This very much points to power supply.

What do you have for a power supply?

Chances are its bad from what you are describing. Assuming you dont find any loose connections.

Since its a prebuilt i would assume it has enough power to begin with, but regardless, its very likely that its bad/dying.

Decent brand and it should be enough, i do think its the power supply though from what you describe.
