So about a month ago I started getting BSODs randomly and all of a sudden. I decided to do a clean install of windows 10 on my HDD thinking maybe some of my windows files for corrupted, and I got no BSODs for about a month. Fast foward a month later to today, I started getting them again. I reinstalled windows again but this time I still kept getting them, sometimes as soon as I entered desktop, sometimes a few mins later.

I tried my HDD in another computer and everything was fine, I thought it was maybe a faulty PSU since it was very old and started making noise, so I bought a new one(I was gonna buy a new one anyway) but I still kept getting them. Then I checked my RAM sticks and did a windows memory diagnostic test on anothwr computer and it said the RAM was fine...I really dont know what to do and am startin to lose my mind, I bought a new CPU, MB and RAM about 2 months ago(and a PSU today) so to mw it wouldnt make too much sense that they are already faulty.

Any help would be much appriciated.

did you run test on your HDD you might have bad sectors happing also if you try and do a new install again try runing a wipe drive so theres nothing at all on the drive also you might have a ram slot going bad

I already did a clean install of windows on it, I deleted everything on it and then installed windows, and I tried the HDD in a different PC and I got no BSODs. Also how do I check if I have a RAM slot going bad, do I just put one stick in a different slot then? My MB has 4 slots.

yes checking one slot at a time with the ram is how you find out also do you keep using the same sata cable and header try swapping them but if you find its a ram slot or a sata header going bad you need a new mobo

I thought if I would put in only one stick I should always put it in B1 slot, but if put it alone in any other slot it should still be fine right?

2 things you can test.

  • Run a full pass of the memtest.
  • Make sure your Chipset Driver is up to date. Especially Intel Management Engine.

A memory dump of the BSOD would help with troubleshoot.

The memtest passed and i cant even get enought time to install a chipset driver(got a ryzen 5 3600 and b450m board) before I get BSOD so I cant even install it.
