Don't know about data, but they sure are very very popular! (and for good reason!)

It's hard to say. I don't know these things, but I would put my money on it. I have an EVO and it's great. For $30-35 US you really cant beat the performance

They could be the best selling budget air coolers but I wouldn't necessarily say they are the best selling overall. AIO and many high end air coolers are pretty popular too.

The Intel CPU coolers that are bundled with their CPUs are likely the best sellers, I've seen them all the time in even pre-built machines. As for after market solutions, yes, the Hyper 212 Plus is probably the best seller in that category.
