i5 10600K cooling

Hey guys. I'm planning to upgrade my i5 6400 to a i5 10600K and need a new cooler, because a stock cooler wont do the trick.

My question is: Will a Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO be enough? Or should i search for a more expensive solution

The cooler cant be above 156 MM in height because i have a relatively small case

Any answer is appreciated!

the problem is that that one is just slightly to big for my case

why wouldn't it be a good cooler tho?

10600k is power hungry, especially if you want to overclock it. the tx3 is quite entry level and not suitable for such a strong cpu.

What cooler would you recommend that's smaller then 156MM in height and will do the trick?

NH-D14 or NH-U12S if you have the funds or space.

Because of your space limitation then NH-U9S or NH-D9L

I'm using a Noctua NH-U9S. OCd the 10600k to 5.0 GHz on all cores using override vcore at 1.270. The tiny cooler holds the Temps at 40-45 while playing WoW, and makes out at 90ish during stress/stability tests.
