You could get a A520 motherboard and then get better RAM. a520 means no ocing, and thats bad for low end hardware. a80+ smart is a pos, thats comming from a owner of one. maybe you could still grab a 1tb hdd if he wanted.

If OP won't overclock, then they should get A520.
