Hi,

I have weird CPUTIN readings from HWMonitor. It actually maxed out at 100C(211F). Is this a glitch or should I be worried?

PC specs:

Intel Core i7-950

Asus P6T SE

Kingston HyperX 6GB (3x2) DDR 3

Freezer 13 Pro

Is my Cinebench R20 score good?
I got the score of 936cb and I was wondering if that is a good score for my CPU.

Here's a screenshot:

Thats a good score for Cinebench R20 on a CPU like that. For hardware monitoring, use HWinfo64, not HWMonitor.

If temps idle at 60 Celsius, I would do a repaste of TIM if it hasn't been done in a long time, considering your system. If it has been, check your CPU cooler to make sure it is properly mounted.

Is it necessary?

Under benchmarking load, the CPU temperature hasn't gone above 75C.

Is there a chance that the CPU is running at a high clock speed when idle? Should I undervolt my CPU for better temps?
