Hi guys,

Hopefully, someone here will be bale to help.

I setup a Lancache server a couple of weeks ago and am happy to report that everything worked well given my lack of Linux knowledge however, while my livingroom and bedroom PCs appear to be served from the Lancache as they should, I have another PC in a spare room that doesn't want to play ball.

All devices are on the same subnet and workgroup.

I can't see any IP address conflicts.

As I said earlier, the Lancache is serving 2 other PCs perfectly well.

Spareroom PC DNS server address are as inputted on the other systems and the NSLOOKUP command correctly reports my server by name and by correct IP address.

With the above all looking as it should, Steam still wants to download from the internet rather than the cache server.

Any ideas?

Thanks

C
