Do I need AMD driver?

Hello everyone,

 

 

This is my first topic here in the forum and I'm sure that you'd help me in this issue.

 

 

My friend just bought an AMD 6800K and Nvidia GTX770 and he asked me if downloading amd catalyst will increase the performance in gaming or not. Also, he afraid that if he install both amd and nvidia drivers will result in some games may choose the apu instead of the 770. Unfortunately, I don't have the experience to answer such question which is why I posted this topic, and thanks in advance :)

In My Experience you just need the drivers for the graphics card and your processor and i do not think that the apus before kaveri supported catalyst
