Ive finally saved up enough spare funds to go through with setting up mesh wifi at home. Just would like some final input to see if I need to make any last minute changes.

My location is in Vancouver, Canada.

Provider and current setup is a Telus box with a second extender? Relay point? It basically is connected to the first but under 'wifi name' 2.4g and 5g as two additinal wifi connections points. These two boxes are at opposite ends of the house. And while it does technically work, wifi still has a lot of dead spots or weak spots with bad connection. I am hoping to eliminate as many of these point as possible with a new mesh network.

I have done a bit of research. And with my still limited understanding, a mesh network should help me fix these dead spots as well as put everything under wifi name. And maybe get a small wifi speed boost.

I am also choosing to get devices that are wifi 6 ready / compatible.

I wa soriginally thinking of getting netgear orbi but its a bit difficult to get wifi 6 options in vsncouver for some reason

I am currently sitting on getting Asus Ai Mesh with a new router plus 4 nodes.

Specifically ax11000 as the main with ax92u for the nodes. Another reason im chose asus originally is again ease of finding it in the first place.

Ideally i would actually like to replace the cable modem from telus as well, but it seems kinda difficult to find something like that with wifi 6 as well.  Would anyone have any suggestions or thoughts before i go any further?
