Question would be does it matter between a 3600 or 3700x also if anyone has any experience with powerspec power supply's and if they were good for you

Never heard of powerspec, probably want to look elsewhere (I highly recommend EVGA and Corsair)

3600 vs 3700x is a significant difference (more cores, higher boost clock, and better OC capability)

I wouldn't go with an r5 3600 and then a 3080, it would be an imbalanced system. Also, go with a good power supply from the forum's power supply tier list. The 3080 draws a massive amount of power and you don't want to cheap out with something that expensive in your build.
