mount -o ro /dev/ufs/FreeNASs3 /conf/default/etc failed: dropping into /bin/sh

That is the error I am constantly getting when I try to install from USB flash drive. I don't understand this at all! I tried setting the IDE controller to bypass on my Dell E310. It has 2 gigs of ram and a pentium 4 clocked at 2.8Ghz.

I tried to do some research, but I'm not finding the solution I need! Please help me with my goal of jumping ship with windows.

I would say you don't install freeNAS. Its not recommended at all to install freeNAS on a harddrive, you should make a USBstick with freenas .img on it. Then run freenas-os of it:) **

** this vid will help alot:)
