So I was running out of space on my SSD.   I bought a new one and cloned the old one to it using Macrium.

Now i have a partion with a bunch of unused space ---    I cannot seem to combine it into the primary partition -    Can anyone help me?

Let me get this straight... Your engine is 1.9 liters and my Pepsi is 2?

windows will only let you extend volumes into immediately adjacent space. the cool way to fix this is to load up a bootable linux iso and use gparted to resize the partition, but you can just download a utility thatll do all that for you. i used aomei last week for this exact scenario, its free and seems to have worked without a hitch

can you explain this in english please?   :)

As you can see the old drive is still there and active.   (C)         So I can redo the clone if I need to -- I'm just lost on what to do...

Well, that seems to have worked...  Thank you....  Now if I might as another question...

How do I move forward?   Meaning,    I now have the C, E and J drives --  (not sure why I have e?)

Do I just rename C and J to J and C?

youll have to determine what those drives are. if you have any usb sticks plugged in theyll count as drives and will have a letter assigned. usually your main os drive is C, other storage drives in the system are D, E, etc, and removable devices come after those. doesnt really matter what theyre named, windows doesnt really care and will mount them according to the proper hierarchy. so i named mine by the model of each drive so i know what i'm working with when im moving files around

C is my current main drive I want to replace --

D is a storage drive - we can leave that alone

E & J are the new ssd.  (not sure why it cloned and created the system reserved as E)
