Hi. I just made a bootable Linux flash drive with Linuxfx as I wanted to try it. Every time I’ve used Linux I’ve installed it to the hard drive. But this time I just want to run it from the flash drive. I was wondering if there was a way to stop the drive from resetting itself to stock if I shut down or reboot. TIA

You need to setup persistant storage. Rufus should be able to do this for you.

I tried setting up persistent storage with Rufus twice. Both times it got to formatting 100% and sty’s there
