Can anyone help me out?

I know CL (or CAS Latency) is a time frame between processor issue a read command and the RAM responded with the data.

The tRCD is a time frame where the RAM chip locates the Row and Column of its cell to retrieve the data

The tRP, I'm not sure about it. According to many sources, it indicates that it is a time frame between a precharge command and opening the next row.

The tRAS is even more confusing. Many sources stated it is a Row Active Time, a time frame between row active command and precharge command.

CL and tRCD are fairly easy to understand, but I have trouble understanding tRP and tRAS. What do they mean? What do they actually do?
