Hey!

I’m working on a computer that won’t boot. The BIOS loading screen appears, then it just goes to a black screen. It’s outputting to the monitor, just a black screen. I’ve reset the CMOS, was able to get to “Windows didn’t start properly” screen a few times, ran startup repair to no avail, and restored it to a system back-up. Still nothing. I reinstalled the drives, and now I can’t even get past the black screen no matter what I do. I have a drive that I use for troubleshooting & I know is completely functional & had the exact same behavior with it even when it was the only drive installed.

I looked for a thread concerning this but didn’t find one. If I missed it, please link below. Otherwise, can anyone help?

Edit: cursor now appears on said black screen & is operational. Occasionally a loading/processing circle pops up next to it. Also, it was working fine a few weeks ago.
