GPU Coil Whine

Go to solution Solved by Slottr,

Coil whine is a very normal thing. If it's absolutely horrid, try and RMA. Most companies won't though.

I've very recently begun to hear my GPU whine, 99% sure it's the coils.

Only starts under load, I can dampen it ever so slightly by underclocking, but it's still quite irritating.

Anyone got some advice? Is it normal that this has onset after a few months of use? It is a slim possibility that I've just never noticed it before, as I've recently moved the build and haven't gamed in a while. Still, I dread to think I'll have to put up with a gerbil screaming at me while I professionaly game.

Cheers.
