help Bios randomly resets

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming OC

G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600 PC4-28800 32GB 2x16GB CL16

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro

EVGA Supernova G3 850W 80 Plus Gold Modular

 
First time posting here.

 

Hi, this happened too one month ago, more or less.

I just booted my pc this morning, it took longer than expected then all good. But my xmp profile was disabled. I reset and went to BIOS and this message appeared. https://imgur.com/VIRXHA1

 

I did not change anything, I have no OC just the xmp profile tested 24h, 5 month old pc, 0 problems. Should I RMA? Is there any solution? I'm on Bios v.f12

I mean, i can live with it... Just reset and enable xmp and disable fast boot once every X months, but I don't know if this can damage the ram or I don't know... It is just my first build and I'm a bit scared.

Could it be that your motherboard battery is dead ?

If it was dead it would reset every single time or not?

No, it would reset only when you disconnect the PC from the main wall power. While the PSU has power the bios is intact. When the PC does not have power the little battery on the motherboard keeps the bios alive. If both fail bios resets.

Oh ok, but I rarely disconnect the pc from the wall (and when i did, all went well) plus I have a UPS.

The battery is dead cheap you can change it. or test it with a multi meter

Hmmm I don't think I have a multi meter. If it happens again I will replace it. There's a number on the battery to buy a similar one?
