When my frames go under 160 fps it starts to do vertical "screentearing" but only in some areas on my screen this disappers when using windowed mode and going back in fullscreen but only aslong as i dont tab out and in again. VSync or locking my fps dowsnt seem to work and this only appears to happen on directx games and never on Vulcan games.

GPU: RTX 2070s

This could be caused by a issue with a driver or something to do with a problem with your monitor could be wrong but worth a try reinstalling your drivers. I don’t it’s an issue with the monitor but a software bug could be the issue

It’s possible it’s just a bad gpu if that’s the case just get a new one or try to find someone who can attempt to fix it. If there’s any other ports on the card try them. That’s my advice
