My pc specs:motherboard:asus h110m-k :cpu:i5 7400 :ram:crucial 12gb (4+8) :gpu:gtx 1060 3gb windforce So my gpu idle is 56 and while gaming is hitting 87c max..........is that ok ? MSI afterburner settings:Core voltage:+15 :Power limit:+116 :Core clock:+167 :Memory clock:+334

Those idle temps are definitely too high, and 87c under stress is stretching the limit. Is this a new GPU? It's possible you got a faulty one and just need to get it replaced.

Seems like bad airflow or profile. A card like that shouldn’t be that hot otherwise. 
Also don’t see a point in the extra voltage and power for such a card either.
