How much can I ask for a 4 year old laptop with specs like the image, minus the SSD and with a no charging battery.

I mean it was barely a laptop to begin with (9 fucking pounds and a 17.3" screen) and with a dead battery it's completely useless as one.

 

 

I wouldn't pay more than a few hundred bucks. $300 maybe.

Without a charging battery (I presume you mean charging brick) and no ssd (so it will certainly feel slow) I wouldn't expect much. Have a look at similar sold items on eBay and pick a price based on that. Can always start an auction at a price your comfortable to sell at and see if you can get some extra.

 

I would also consider trying to repurpose it for your own personal use, or maybe you have a younger family member who may like to try out some light gaming

 

Edit: If you mean the battery doesn't saty charged away from the wall that's even worse, and you really will struggle to sell it
