Greetings from Malaysia. i recently build me a new pc after years using sandy bridge i5 2500.

Here's the current build.

Ryzen 3 2300x

Gigabyte B450M S2H

Galax Gamer II 8gb 3000mhz

Galax GTX 1060 3gb

Super Flower Eco Silver 500w

An SSD and 2 HDD

VGA only AOC Led Monitor

Everything's was fine until the first boot up. Everything's running, except no display on monitor. So, i swap gpu to an old HD5450, direct VGA to VGA, and it display without issue. installed windows, drivers, except nvidia drivers,  without issue. But after that, when when i swapped back to 1060,using HDMI to VGA active adaptor, it gave me the same no display. Mind you, i've been using this 1060 for a little bit over a year, from the old rig.

1-It was the same cable, same monitor, and same adaptor, only difference is the rig. Why did this happen?

2-How can i tackle this, even temporarily, at least until i have money to buy new monitor(if the adapter is the culprit)?

This pc is the only entertainment i had. Ireally need help from the community. Thanks in advance, and excuse my English.
