Budget (including currency): 1000€ (budget may vary since this is a delayed upgrade)

Country: Italy

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming (LoL, Fortnite, and many MMORPG), also i'm reaching the end of my computer science degree, and I will have to work on Unity and would enjoy some good performances.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Okay so right now my good old pc is:

CPU: Intel i5 2500k 3.30GHz
GPU: Nvidia 1050Ti

Moba: AsRock Z77 Extreme4

HDD: Western Digital Green 2010 1TB

RAM: 8 GB (1 slot) Kingston HyperX DDR3 1867MHz

Cooler: Cooler Master something, can't remember exactly, but i bought it 2 years ago since the stock one broke.

Power: Corsair GS600W

Case: Cooler Master Elite, with 2 fans added.

Monitor: LG E2242 60Hz

So, my question is, what should i upgrade first? I really want to start buying a new monitor, since i recently played on a 144Hz and my god that's so smooth. I usually get the 144fps on the game i listed (only in some gamemodes in Fortnite), but my real problem is i get many and many 1 sec freezes during my game.

I then thought to go for an SSD, something like MX500 1TB, since my loadings (in game and in desktop) are sooo slow. Now my real struggle start, since in order to upgrade my CPU (was thinking Ryzen 5 3600 or something around), i need to upgrade my Moba. Or should i go for more Ram first? Or maybe a new GPU? 😂

Which order do you guys suggest? Thanks to everyone!

P.S. Oh also, i don't know if this may help, but this is the benchmark i recently did: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/30589698
