1950 GBP Setup

Budget (including currency): Around 1950 gbp included a monitor

Country: United Kingdom

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Any kind of games, competitive to story games, will use unity as well for hobby and video production, I also will be studying IT next year, i don't know if its helpful

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Only monitor needed I am aiming at 1440p 144hz 1ms gaming, will buy the parts within this week, I already got 2080 super windforce oc and wd blue 1tb m2 ssd

I also want my PC to be a themed PC, white/black theme with darth vader figure inside the case : D

this is the pcpart list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zZWjrV

If you wish to change something these notes can be helpful;

Helpful notes : I dont like matx boards also I want it to look good no rgb needed though , I want rgb ram white coloured if possible like corsair's, I dont really need hdd for now, if you wish to change the case make sure its white and black inside, I got that 120mm white rgb fan because they are similar to case's one.

If you would like to ask anything just ask

Thanks in advance

Why are you using US PCPP if you're in the UK?

If you didn't know, there's a UK PCPP that compares UK stores: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com

B450 will perform the same as X570 for most things, though you'd need to pay more attention to the VRM and VRM cooling on B450 as it's more of a mixed bag.

I'd advise going for X470 over either of the others really. You'll likely get better VRM and overall more features and expansion, but you probably don't need the features of X570 + tiny fans on the PCH don't sit well with me.

As a side note, I wouldn't advise going with "Cat7" ethernet cables, particularly flat ones. Cat7 isn't actually a standard, so there's not much in terms of requirements to actually reach the classification, and doing proper twisted pairs in a flat cable doesn't really work. Stick to Cat6a which is a recognised and validated standard.

Not too much wrong from what I can see. I think $40 on a fan is ridiculous. I'd rather get a couple of bequiet Shadow WIngs 2 for the price.

What’s the reasoning behind this? Genuinely curious.
