AI Overclocking 9900k Maximus XI Hero

Hi,

About 3 weeks ago I decided to turn on AI overclocking on a Maximus XI Hero board with a 9900k and it was running perfectly until yesterday

It performs everything great except when I tried editing a video in Premiere Pro. The computer reset every time I tried scrobbling fast through a long video in the timeline.

I really needed that video edited so I turned of AI overclocking in the bios and it ran perfectly, so the problem is really with AI overclocking.

Is there any fix for the ai overclocking?

or do I need to manually overclock it?

Can we have the fulls specs of your system to see what could be the problem

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: Gigabyte gtx 1660 Super oc 6g
Mobo:MSI b450 tomahawk max

RAM: 32gb ddr4 lpx vengeance 3200mhz

Storage: WD sn550 1tb, Baracuda 2TB HDD (*In use), Hitachi 2tb HDD, WD 0.5tb HDD (both HDD knackered)

PSU: cxm 450

The AI overclock can be pretty good sometimes, but it is completely unreliable. You could try manually typing in a lower cooler prediction number to get a lower OC, but I simply don't recommend using it at all.
