I wanted to update my BIOS for the new CPU I was about to get. I have the mb ax370m-ds3h, and it was on the BIOS version f21. I installed f24, It went well. I also installed f30 afterwards but, when it had restarted there was just a blackscreen, but the fans, CPU and GPU were still spinning. I have tried to do the reset CMOS by taking the battery out for a bit, but it still stays black screen. I remember that there stood something in BIOS updates that said: Due to BIOS ROM size limited, NO Bristol Ridge (AMD 7th Gen A-series/ Athlon™ X4 series) APU support. I exactly have the AMD Athlon x4 950. Will it help, if I buy a CPU such as the ryzen 5 2600, that only needs BIOS f20 update? I cant choose the 3600, because I haven't instaleld the minimum f40 update on my MB
