So I am at this house and there is a pinball machine. When you turn it on it says this (image below). After it loads everything starts working and you can blast off the ball and use the left bumper but when you press the right bumper this screen pops up again and it is the same cycle over and over again every time you press the right bumper. How do i fix this

By hiring a specialist.  Pinball machines can be 1950’s tech or they can be 1990’s tech and the two are not even remotely the same.  The variation is immense. The model of machine could tell someone possibly what to do.  That person wouldn’t be me though.  I’m not one such.  There may be a pinball machine specialist around here.  Narrowing down the kind of tech in the machine is going to be critical though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Agree with this but the solution will most likely be opening it up and poking around with a DMM

If it’s an older one you will be truly horrified by the rats nest of wire and actuators you see.  If it’s the newest (which means lest old) it will be likely only somewhat less bad.  As you wish though.
