For a few weeks now whenever i startup minecraft my GPU fans go max speed, i have a surface book 2 with a gtx 1050 so there isn't any way i can control my gpu fan. I also play GTA V which is way more graphically intensive and that is way quieter than minecraft, i have even tried switching minecraft to the intergrated graphics and it still happens, so please help me with this issue, it's getting really annoying, Thanks!

The GPU and CPU share the same cooling solution, and since minecraft is really CPU dependent i guess the CPU runs hot at full load.

My suggestion is to reduce the minecraft CPU load, first install optifine, set render distance to 10 chunks,  limit the FPS to your monitors refresh rate, enable VBOs, enable smart animations ,smooth fps ,fast render , and fast math in performance options..

Also i suggest you monitor your CPU and GPU temps while gaming.

I have already changed all of those settings, I know it's my GPU because the GPU is in the bottom part of the laptop and the CPU in the top part. @Void Master

The GPU was at 60 when i started up minecraft but dropped to 50 because the fan started revving up and all CPU cores were are at about 70 degrees @Void Master.

I've also updated the drivers but still same issue, and it's only with minecraft. On other more GPU intensive games it goes way quieter @Void Master.

Did u reinstall minecraft and java ?

Can you update your laptop'[s BIOS ?

and be sure to read all the warnings and precautions before doing that, or else you will brick your laptop.

DON'T TURN IT OFF DURING THE PROCESS EVEN IF IT TAKES A LONG TIME AND DOESN'T RESPOND FOR A WHILE.
