Both of these builds are bad.

Build is good, except for a few things..

HDD in 2020 makes no sense. That's a total of $70, either spend another $35 for a 1tb SSD, or settle for a 500gb SSD and ugprade later. Or wait for a sale where 1TB SSDs drop to around $80

Why wouldn't you pick an RX 5700xt here, it's both cheaper AND faster. 9% faster on average, 20-37% faseter in some games. It competes with the 2070s ffs.

Ah good point I didn't read his reply. Still disagree on your storage pick. Also, membrane keyboard at a $1200 budget? You can get Cherry MX Blues at $20 more and Otemu Blues at $16 less (redragon K552 $33.99, RGB version at $38.99)

I left the keyboard to his personal opinion, and a 500GB ssd fills up pretty quickly nowadays.

1TB SSD is literally $20 more for that same Silicon Power a55 (you spent a total of $73 on storage in your build). If you get the team GX2 it's around $17 more for full SSD..

The increase is under 2% of his total budget...

@Purple_Llama5 - look into a mechanical keyboard. I recommend Cherry MX Blue switches. Red if you hate clicky switches, never brown or any of the other scratchy ones.

Ok... so what do you think about just having this for storage is that enough?

Team GX2 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive $89.99 @ Amazon

I switched over to the Redragon K552-R KUMARA Wired Gaming Keyboard... thoughts?
