Hey,

i have a problem with my USB Stick, its an Corsair Survivor 16gb and my Win7 will not recognizance him anymore.

I UnetBootin i made an Linux Boot Stick and all was ok, but after that i plugged him back into my Win7 Computer and yeah win7 did't recognizance the USB Stick.

The USB Stick shows in the "Disk Managment" from Win7 as Disk 2 with many Unallocated Partitions but if i try to make a new one i cant because the drop down Menu is "grey".

I know my USB Stick is not "dead" but what can i do ?

Thx,

Mystorius

try this. open diskpart.exe (type diskpart in the start-menu search box)

- type "list disk"

this will list all drives, including your 16GB flash drive.

take note of the number given to your USB flash drive.

-type "select disk (insert USB flash drive number here)"

-type "clean"

-type "create partition primary"

-type "select partition primary"

-type "format fs=ntfs label="new volume" quick

if it all goes to plan it will now show up as "new volume" in your computer formatted with NTFS
