So I have successfully gotten into the bios, I am at the point of accessing the boot menu to boot from the usb to star the windows process. I do have the option in the boot menu to boot from the usb, but not the uefi, so i tried booting from the usb and got the black screen with blinking cursor. I've seen some videos that suggested maybe downloading something called rufus, but they seem mildly sketchy so I am not sure what to do from here? I also don't have the option to boot from uefi, just ssd and usb san disk, I looked at a boot menu from another video of the same motherboard, asrock b450m r4.0 and saw that they did have an option to boot from uefi

you need to disable legacy boot option , and enable UEFI boot option. If u dont have UEFI boot option, set legacy.
Download rufus and w10 iso, and make usb stick UEFI or Legacy (CMS non uefi i think)using rufus , depend of BIOS settings. 4 that follow any tutorial on yt.
