Hi everyone, pretty new to PC building so apologies in advance if this isn't the proper place to post/if someone could direct me to other resources that'd be great!

Just did my first PC build recently and everything is working great, except that when I use headphones/speakers I can hear a faint static. I've tried different audio ports, and the same problem occurs. The speakers/headphones are fine on other computers/devices. Drivers are updated, so I'd be sad if that were the issue.

Interestingly, I can hear the static when uninstalling all audio drivers, and I can also hear it physically from my computer if I listen really hard (very faint sound, the cooling fans are louder). In addition, the sound doesn't scale with volume and doesn't really change regardless of how hard I'm working my computer. My current idea is that this sound is perhaps due to some electrical interference in the integrated mobo sound card, and that I can hopefully resolve it if I buy an external sound card, like a DAC. If anyone has had similar problems or knows potential solutions that'd be great!

I've attached some of the static coming from my speakers. For reference, my mobo is Gigabyte Z390 UD and PSU is Seasonic Focus PX-750

Thanks!
