Test server

hi  i am wantinfg to  conerct    a   net app disk shelf to  this  test server

 

hi am   wanting to use    windows 7   pc  as  file server  and       need to add a  raid card   for  net  app  disk self this is the raid card i am using   Adaptec  8085

 

pc  specs are 32gb  of  ddr3  ram

i7  cpu 4400k

motherboard  Asus P8Z77-V DELUXE

 

 when   the     server is  booting up   it   hangs   at the   raid card keneeal  bootup  the  lights  come on the  disk  shelf and   i see a  light  on raid card   and just  hangs  will not  go any    futer    hope some can help 

 

as   soon as  i  unplug the  cable it  boots  up    i know it is  not the    the cable and the  diskshelf      dose  work  as i  seen   it  working   before i recived it
