HoI IV Server

Hey, I am looking to create a permanent HoI IV server for me and the boys, however, I am not sure what CPU I should use to get the best performance. I don't have a budget, I can go as high as I need. Also, I am located in the U.S.

Do you have any details on how much storage space you need?

I'm going to have 128Tb's of raw storage, and I'm going to be running the server straight through the game itself. That seems like the easiest way to do things.

Oh ok, you'll need a bunch of hard drives and maybe two NVMe SSD's in RAID 1 for the OS. 

 

Also don't forget to buy a UPS.

Right, I've already got that all planed out, I just need to know what CPU I should use, cause I don't wanna disappoint the boys ya know?

If budget isn't an issue you could go overkill with a Threadripper 3970X. But I think a Ryzen 9 3950X should be more than enough.
