Hey everyone, hope you all can help guide me in the right direction. I am still pretty new to building PCs this is only my 2nd build and I’m running into an error when I boot up. I’ve tried to call ASUS but with this stupid pandemic the support center is down. I have been able to boot my computer and run windows but here is the list of problems I do not know how to fix (BE EASY ON ME IM NOT EXACTLY FLUENT IN TECH LANGUAGE):

1) When I boot my computer up using the display port i am greeted with an American Megatrends screen that says:

AMIBIOS (c) 2019 American Megatrends, INC.

Asus Tuf Gaming X570-PLUS (WIFI) ACPI BIOS Revision 1405

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core processor

Speed: 3600MHz

Total memory: 32768MB (DDR4-2133)

USB Devices total: 0 Drive, 3 Keyboards (only one actual keyboard connected), 2 Mice ( only one actual mouse connected), 1 Hub (I have a corsair command pro and a node pro connected to the command pro)

Detected devices...

M.2_2: Sabrent

Sata6G_2: ST2000DM008 - 2FR102 (This is a brand new drive)

SMART Failure Predicted on SATA6G_2: ST2000DM008 - 2FR102

Warning: Please back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive.

A failure may be imminent and cause unpredictable fail.

Press F1 to to setup

2) So after I pressed F1 I was taken to the BIOS where I ended up installing windows 10 home 64 bit via USB to my M.2_2 sabarent drive. Currently on my BIOS boot priority only my M.2 is listed  but the only way I can get to windows to open is by going to the boot menu and selecting the drive which then flawlessly loads and runs windows. I’m assuming that until I fix problem 1 I will continue to have to do this because every time I boot I’m greeted with that American Megatrends screen and am forced to go into the BIOS to boot.

3) The very first time I booted my computer I had my graphics card (gtx1080) plugged into my monitor via display port. I never got a display to pop up with it. I was scared I wasn’t getting a post but I turned off my computer and this time used HDMI on the graphic card. When I tried this it got a display and the American Megatrends screen. Then once I booted windows I switched back to display port and everything was fine. I originally thought I was because of the graphics card drivers but its not because every time I restart my computer I have to have my HDMI cable plugged in order to get a picture. But once windows is loaded is can switch back to display port.

Specs:

MOBO: Asus Tuf Gaming X570-PLUS (WIFI)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core processor

RAM: Corsair RGB 32G DDR4 3600

GPU: EVGA 1080 FTW

PSU: Corsair RM 850X

LIKE I SAID ONLY MY BOOT PROCESS IS MESSED UP. ONCE WINDOWS BOOTS EVERYTHING WORKS FINE.

THANKS IN ADVANCE EVERYONE FOR YOUR TIME!
