Hard disk not found

So my dads pc showed a message saying "alert! Hard disk not found."

its his work pc so i didnt get my hands dirty by trying if the cable is in the socket or not. It has really important info that if lost could cause alot of problems.

The pc itself is a Dell prebuilt.

Any one know what to do?
