How to install new Gpu and change old gpu internally

Hello guys. This is the first time I am upgrading my graphics. I have currently gigabyte radeon hd6670 ddr3 but now I am getting gigbyte rx5500 xt oc 4gb.
Now I want to upgrade new gpu replacing the old one but without new windows setup I have some stufs to complete can not setup the windows now. what if I directly install the new gpu without removing old gpu Driver from the pc? will it open? then I can uninstall the old driver and newly install new gpu driver? or I should Unplug old gpu then run the pc from motherboard and unstall the old gpu driver then plug the new gpu and install the new driveR?

Please let me know thank you!

Should I uninstall from "programs and features"?

or any other way to apply for uninstall perfectly?

just uninstall the drivers and equip your new card and go on google and search on the official manufacturer page for the drivers
