you can check on your memory IC with thaiphoon burner to get an idea on how well it can overclock

http://www.softnology.biz/

Generally lower end sticks like that don't use good memory, but you might luck out and get a decent samsung IC, what cpu are you running?

2600, these are g.skill kits, but one kit doesnt even have a heatsink (4x4GB) and they're not even RGB so I was impressed with that overclock tbh lol.

Ideally I want 3200MHz, even if I end up with loose timings like cl19, but would prefer to not mess with voltage as I'm using my computer to work and well, prices here are like 130 usd for a corsair ballistix 2x8 3000mhz kit lol

also I think I read that they're hynix chiplets in the bios but not sure

If they're hynix, then they are most likely mfr or afr which typically don't overclock that well, how is memory so expensive where you live?

nvm that lol, now its $87 for a 2x8 3000mhz corsair kit. It was just out of stock lol, but yeah , generally prices here are high because theres no demand for "high" end parts. most of the things on my facebook marketplace are DDR3 or i5s second to fourth gen

What area do you live, i guarantee a that cheaper and better memory kit could be found

Where are you doing your shopping at? I underestimated how much you all get price gouged down there.

I can't seem to find a 3000mhz kit for less than $97 USD for you

That was on amazon but RAM prices are volatile as black powder here. Although that price includes VATs, it's still bad, but surprisingly a 5700xt is 480 or so

First increase clock and when that doesn't go higher, lower the timings. Voltages up to 1.35V are fine for daily use, especially if RAM has heatspreaders.

As long as it's a decent IC most ddr4 can do 1.45 daily, even without heatspreaders

Ok, if you're honestly looking for a better kit of ram to pair with that 2600, micron rev. e typically goes well since it is less stressful on the memory controller and clocks well, I'll link a kit that I found below

https://www.amazon.com.mx/Crucial-Ballistix-Velocidad-Negro-Standard/dp/B083TSFGBP/ref=sr_1_13?__mk_es_MX=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=crucial%2Bballistix%2Bsport%2Blt%2B3000mhz&qid=1587800764&sr=8-13&th=1

Honestly though, depending on what ram you currently have, it might not be worth it to upgrade
