So I decided to stop being lazy and push my card and I noticed that while im stressing it, its not at 100% load. At first it was 97 to 98% load and staying at 70 and 71c with my aggressive fan curve, but then it dropped to 84% load and 68c. Why? And just now as im writing this it went back up to 97% load for 10 seconds then dropped again to 84%.

Im using MSI kombustor, should I use something else? Is my card borked?

Btw that was on burn in mode at 1440p. Im trying just the standard mode now at 1440p it just crashed at 150 core offset RIP but it was also only at 89% usage. Is this normal??

Yes, it is normal. You might be bumping into some hard limits.

Well I am testing 1440p and its more so a 1080p card, so that could be it. Managed a 135 offset core clock, testing memory now, testing 1000 and surprisingly it didnt immediately crash, but I dont expect it to stay stable.

Amazingly, this board seems to be built well by EVGA. 1000 mhz mem clock stayed stable. Gonna wait to push further as its late, but I managed a 135 core and 1k mem, not sure how much extra juice that comes out to but its free so yolo.
