Hello Tech Tips,

I recently built a new computer, and had been using it for a few days until the unthinkable happened: my computer froze, and my headphones were making a weird buzzing/grinding noise. I had just started running Destiny 2, which I had played a few times before. Nothing was able to shut it off, the power button didn't work, so I used the switch on the power supply. When I tried to start it again, my monitor said, no signal, and went into power save mode. The fans still spin and the LEDs on the case lit up, but there was no signal.

Here is what I have tried so far:

I connected the monitor to my laptop, and the monitor worked.

I have unplugged all of the nonessential stuff, the ssd, and the connectors for the case, and just had the motherboard, the CPU, the GPU, and the ram and the neccessary power cables connected. I shorted the two pins on the motherboard, and the fans spun, but still no signal.

I've removed the CMOS battery and put it back. No signal.

I took out the memory and GPU and put them back in, to the same result.

I ordered a replacement motherboard, it arrived today, I moved my parts to it, no signal.

Here are my specs:

Windows 10 64 Bit

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU

Gigabyte Radeon RX 5500 XT GPU

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB RAM, 1 stick

ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 AM4 micro atx motherboard

Corsair CX Series 550 Watt Power Supply

I'm really sorry if I forgot something important, I haven't posted here before so I hope all is in order.
