upgrade PC Upgrade

So i built my rig going on about 1 1/2 years ago and it still holds up nicely but i think its time for and upgrade. My current PC specs are:

intel core i5 8600k (oc to 4.2)

GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

msi z370-a pro

16 GB (2 x 8GB) G.skills ripjaws V series DDR4-3200

kingston 2.5" 240 GB ssd

WDB 1T HDD

EVGA B3 550 W 80+ bronze

 

Im looking for some higher frames while gaming as i recently just got 2 144 hz monitors. Naturally I am leaning towards upgrading the GPU but am affraid that any serious upgrades to it may make my CPU a bottleneck.

What do you guys think would be a good upgrade?

I have some recommendations:

CPU: i7 would be a good upgrade.

Video card: It is still good.

Motherboard: Still good.

SSD: If you want more storage go for it!

HDD: Upgrade of you feel like it.

Power supply: You might need to upgrade if it is not giving the right voltage or is not working correctly.

Thanks for the suggestions! do you think i sholuld stay with the 8000 generation or get a 9000 gen
