Hey All, Sorry if I am on the wrong board!

I have owned a slightly different spec version this tower (Asus G11CD) --> https://www.amazon.com/Desktop-Processor-GeForce-Customizable-lighting/dp/B01N6X73WD for a while now and i have since added a second hdd i have experience tinkering with computer insides and troubleshooting however i have never extensively upgraded any pc per se. I decided that my 950 whilst good was a tiny bit less than i would need in coming future for editing and gaming general.

The current issues i'm facing is my (possibly reckless but thought out) gamble that involved buying  he radeon RX 570 4 GB ROG Strix. I noted down all my internals and my spec sheet comes out something like this.

GPU: ASUS Gtx 950 2GB

1x 8GB Hynix DDR4

i5 6400 2.7Hz

PSU: AcBel, PCA022-ZA6G 300w

Despite my best efforts i was entirely unable to find an exact model of my motherboard, I believe it is a microATX board with one of the stickers labelling [ H110-I/G11CD/DP_MB ]

I was also unable to find certain dimensions for it including what form factor it actually is. I have already ordered the graphics card --> https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/components-upgrades/graphics-cards/asus-radeon-rx-570-4-gb-rog-strix-graphics-card-10167044-pdt.html

Out of neccessity for power I am considering buying this PSU --> https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/components-upgrades/power-supplies/kolink-core-kl-c600-atx-psu-600-w-10201064-pdt.html

If anyone could let me know their opinions on my choices and if i could change anything up i am on a relatively tight budget and giftcards chopped the rx570 price down for me.

Thank you 🙂

If your budget is that limited for the PSU, I suggest you save up even more. Spending as low as £33 on a PSU will only get you garbage.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Kolink makes other PSUs that are good but they are not quite in this price range. 80+ bronze doesn't help anything if the unit's crap, here's a cheap but good PSU that would pair well with the system:

hard to take into account availability in your area when all I can check are online shops, do you have a local shop you're buying from exclusively?

Having a quick look at that website, the CX550 seems to be available which is a really good budget unit.

I am looking to buy from Curry's:

I would prefer to stay below 80 the cheaper the better really, I was worried about connectivity to the graphics card would most 600w range psu's have the right connectors?

Yeah, you'd struggle to find a modern PSU without a 6+2 pin PCIe connector these days. 550 watts will also basically power almost any rig, so feel free to upgrade to your heart's content (assuming you don't get dual GPUs)

I'm a bit worried they won't be able to get any corsair products instock but i'll definitely keep it tabbed, I believe these are the same size as the one im replacing but i cant figure out if the case is mini-ATX or Standard ATX and whether or not it would make a difference. or even if transplanting the whole machine to a new case would be more viable.
