CS:GO Low Fps

Lately i've been getting low fps on csgo while in the past I got over 150fps. On the new anubis map i barely got 60fps with medium settings and with all settings maxed out i got 80. fps_max is set to 400, cpu usage is 70% or lower and gpu usage is about 20-30%. Also when a lot of grenades are thrown some times the game stutters to 20fps for a split second while cpu usage isn't even at 100%.

Is this issue common or am I the only one.

My pc specs are

i5 4460

gtx 1060 6gb

12gb ram.

So were you getting higher fps on the new anubis map or are you saying you got 150fps on other maps?

In the past i got over 150 fps on any map. the new map is way more demanding than others atleast that's what i think but it's really wierd getting sub 100fps no matter the map considering this is CSGO. And I consider my pc decent as it still plays demanding games at reasonably high fps.

Also I didn't mention i play 4:3 so it's 1280x1024.

Ahhh, so you weren't just talking about the new map.

 

Any updates change any settings on your PC?  Were you ever running something like Intel XTU to boost performance?

Apart from the background windows updates, in the past few months I have neither changed anything nor have I downloaded any new programs/games etc.

And no I don't even know what is Intel XTU.
