SSD not working properly

Hello!

I'm having problems with my SSD where it goes up to 100% (like in the attachment) but the read and write speeds are at 0. This causes for example windows explorer and the games I have installed on that SSD to not work properly, freeze or just straight up crash. 

Does someone know what might cause this problem or know some fixes that might resolve my problem.

I've never seen that before. But, according to your screenshot, it seems that your CPU had a usage bump at the same time as your SSD. You may want to see what process is using the CPU time and you may (or not) know what causes the problem on your SSD.

Do you think it is caused by my cpu when I demand a lot from it? I'll try to find a connection betwee the two and I'll let you know.

 

-I don't know how this exactly how this works but I heard that if you don't have enough ram your pc will use your normal storage for RAM usage and this slows your pc down quite a lot. Is it likely that that is the case here too?

No I don't think it is caused by the CPU. But I think the process that is using the CPU might also be the one that is using the SSD.

Yeah, it is called SWAP. But I don't think it is might use 100% of the disk. I am not sure on that one.

 

try to go to the process tab of the task manager and see the name of the one that is using the CPU and, probably, the disk.
