Microphone Problems

My Blue Yeti is making a tapping/electrical sound at rapid, uneven intervals. I noticed that when I move behind it, the sound becomes quieter. I also found that my headset mic earrapes when I listen to it, so I'm thinking it might be a software issue. It is also possible, but highly unlikely, that both mics were damaged due to a massive power surge I had. I don't think this is the case because my peripherals work fine and my Blue Yeti has worked up until this point (The power surge was maybe 3-4 weeks ago).
