Razer Kraken Pro mic cable broken

Hey, so I have a Razer Kraken Pro headset and I've broken the microphone cable, does anyone know if i can cut it and use crimp heatsinks with new audio cable to fix this or do I have to replace everything and solde it back together?

good luck trying to solder anything on headphones / mic. The wires are ity bity, like one or two super thin strands of copper. Can hardly get the insulation off without breaking.  (ive tried to repair headphones before and it did not end well)

Oh ok but do u know if heat sinks will work?

im not familiar with 'crimp heat sinks'

do you mean heat-shrink? like to insulate a solder joint?
