Hey,

Recently come into the issue of my display drivers consistently crashing at moderate temperatures (65-75c). Sometimes they recover straight away but sometimes it hard crashes the pc to a black screen.

I've looked around to try and find links normal temps and display driver crashes but I've yet to find anything regarding fixes (with one exception).

I would immediately go to RMA, however, living in Australia + 2nd hand GPU (I've personally owned it for 2 years with no issues, previous owner used it for mining before moving on and selling the bulk of his cards), they say with no invoice they can only RMA for 2 years from release date which has sadly passed.

I've been trying to live with it in hopes of the next series of cards coming out soon, but everything is being delayed and the card is only deteriorating. The one exception I posted about above was about the thermal paste drying up / spread bad and was toasting inside. I'm not wanting to take it apart without moderate certainty, so how likely is this to be the cause? Is there something else I'm overlooking?

I've tried a lot of DDU, driver updates, windows reinstall, certain software removal but to no avail.

I appreciate any ideas, feedback or any input you have
