Asus AC58U help please.

I have asus ac 58 u, in the spec page it says, 

MIMO technology
2.4 GHz 2 x 2
5 GHz 2 x 2

 

now i have one pc and a phone primarily, the 5ghz i use only for pc and 2.4 ghz i use for phone,

 

so my question is since this router supports mu mimo, is it transmitting to pc and phone simultaneously, or like the turn by turn way, for pc then phone then again pc then phone?

 

also is every dual band router mu mimo if one device is connected to 5ghz other to the 2.4 ghz

Wireless is generally half-duplex. You either receive or transmit at once, not at the same time. MU-MIMO allows transmitting and receiving at the same time, for example router sends signals to one device, at the same time receives signals from another device. MU-MIMO will not improve single device connection in any way.
